Important Information:

• Street Cleaning from the DPW - Cambridge Highlands streets are usually cleaned on the 4th Tuesday for the odd side and the 4th Wednesday for the even side April 1st until December 31st. Here is the Current Schedule, please note that Cambridge Highlands is in the J section.
• Waste Removal Information from the DPW - Cambridge Highlands weekly curbside pickup for trash occurs on Tuesdays. Trash placed at the curb the night before collection must be in rodent-resistant barrels with tight-fitting lids, no earlier than 6pm. Trash in plastic bags can only be placed at the curb on the day of collection, no later than 7am.

• TROMP - The Transportation Responsibility Outreach and Mentoring Project (TROMP!) is encouraging all travelers, be they bikers, walkers, or drivers, to know the law, travel predictably, and be more courteous as they move throughout the city. They hope by improving the travel environment in Cambridge the streets and sidewalks will be safer, more pleasant, and more filled with smiles. Also, as people feel the streets are safer more people will choose biking or walking over driving in their cars. The TROMP! campaign will include a CCTV show, projects with the Cambridge Schools, identifying and rewarding model travelers in Cambridge, collaboration with the Police Department, and much more.
