The Cambridge Public Health Department is hosting a flu information session for Cambridge residents and workers Thursday, Oct. 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Cambridge Family YMCA Theatre at 820 Massachusetts Ave. in Central Square.
A panel of speakers will give an overview of the evolving H1N1 swine flu situation and discuss the health department’s citywide flu vaccination program. These brief presentations will be followed by a 45-minute question-and-answer session in which audience members can share with panelists any questions or concerns they have about influenza or flu vaccines.
Panel members will include the department’s director of public health nursing, a Cambridge Health Alliance physician, and a representative from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
