To the neighborhood: Eric forwarded a note earlier regarding the upcoming renovations on Concord Avenue. If anyone is interested in attending, please go to the meeting – I believe it is March 10 at the Water Department on the parkway.
They will be discussing how and when they plan to renovate, including upgrading the islands at the end of our street. I did ask about a sign “Entering Cambridge” at the intersection; replanting if they disturb the flowers in the island.
They do plan to do an island with crosswalks at the Fayerweather School, so that people can cross each section at a time.
But there maybe lots of ideas that can be imparted to the group on behalf of Cambridge Highlands.
