Last week we received a letter updating us on the status of the Griswold-Sunset intersection as well as the traffic calming ideas for the neighborhood. As Juan stated during his last meeting with us on Oct. 23, 2007, the proposed intersection changes would not be performed. The are going to put peak hour restriction signs disallowing left hand turns from 7:30-9:30am weekdays onto South Normandy from Blanchard Road. Also there will be a peak hour restriction posted at Griswold Street and Sunset Road, restricting left turns onto Sunset from 4-6pm weekdays. These restrictions must apply to all vehicles, including residents. These restricted access signs should be in place shortly.
